Refund policy
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you detailed instructions on how and where to send your package. Please note that customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Item(s) purchased from Participation must be returned within 14 days (from the day the product is received) in new, unused condition with original tags still attached in order to receive a refund. To return an item(s) and receive a refund, please email hello@participationco.com with the items you wish to return and the reason for the return. We will then issue you a Return Authorization which you will need to print out and send back with the items. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges when returning an item(s). A refund will be issued in the original form of payment.
If you purchased an item(s) from Participation and want to exchange it for a different color, size or style, you can do so by emailing hello@participationco.com after you have received your shipment and stating the request for exchange. All exchanges are dependent on current stock. Please note the item you would like to exchange for and we will confirm its availability. Return the item, within 7 days of receiving a confirmation from us, to the address we will provide in an email. We will ship the new items to the original ship to address at no extra charge.
